FAQ

What does Tab2PDF actually do?
Tab2PDF lets you collect multiple webpages — like sections of an online documentation site — and merge them into a single PDF for offline reading, annotation, or printing. It works directly from your browser; no copy-pasting needed.
Does Tab2PDF read all my tabs or personal data?
No. It only reads the pages you explicitly select while in collection mode. Outside of that mode, it doesn’t access your browsing activity.
Are my URLs or PDFs stored on your servers?
Your pages are processed temporarily to generate the PDF, then automatically deleted. We don’t keep or share your content.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. You can use Tab2PDF anonymously. Signing in with Google simply lets you sync your tasks across devices.
Is it free?
Yes, the core features are free during the beta. Advanced features like batch downloads or large merges may become part of the Pro plan later.
Which sites does it work on?
Most websites that allow public access — including documentation, blogs, and tutorials. Some dynamic or login-protected pages might not render correctly, but we’re improving compatibility all the time.
Can I export to other formats (Word, HTML, etc.)?
Not yet — we’re starting with high-quality PDFs first. Other formats may be added in future updates.
